    We are seeking an individual who has good communication skills, enjoys building relationships with customers, pays attention to detail, and is a problem solver. Our mission is to provide friendly, professional personal service to our current clients and new customers.

    Job Responsibilities

    The Account Manager will be responsible for managing an existing book of business. Ensure customer satisfaction, growth, and retention by providing top quality service and fulfilling the following responsibilities:

    Intake client’s information for quoting purposes; input information into agency management and rating system; finalize and review quotes with the client; process customer payments within the office, via the internet, and on the phone. Meet daily servicing needs and requests of our clients.

    The Account Manager will also communicate via phone or email with customers on their monthly expiration lists to review changes and process renewals. Process customer claims when necessary. Help staff immediately greet all customers via phone, internet, or personally, in a friendly and helpful manner.

    Take advantage of new business opportunities by evaluating a prospect’s current insurance program and offering alternatives based on coverage and price.

    Ensure maximum retention of assigned personal lines book of business. Work proactively to re-market policies whenever appropriate.

    Maintain high proficiency level with carrier website rating systems, to provide accurately priced alternative quotes for clients and prospects.

    Assisting other team members as needed and taking part in building a positive office culture and environment

    Possess a genuine willingness to learn, to be intuitive, and resourceful. Maintain an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude. Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency and possess strong communication skills

    Remain current on coverage, forms, and rates to effectively address client’s insurance needs.

    Round out monoline accounts by offering quotes for additional lines of business.

    Assume other job responsibilities as assigned.

    Experience of the Candidate Required and Desired

    In order to perform the above job description, management of internal processes will be required. In addition, minimum levels of experience are required:

    Minimum 2 years of Agency experience required

    Property and Casualty Producers license required

    Be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Word, Excel, and the internet required

    Applied Systems ‘EPIC’ system experience desired

    Working knowledge of companies we represent desired

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional telephone manner, with a pleasant, friendly, client-focused personality.

    Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume environment

    Must be self-motivated and able to work independently without close supervision.

    Ability to remain calm under pressure

    Must be resourceful and have effective problem-solving abilities

    Time worked, Compensation and Benefits

    The typical workweek for our industry is 8:30 to 5 Monday through Friday, with an hour provided for lunch.

    The base salary is calculated by experience in the industry and existing knowledge of the job responsibilities required.

    Any compensation over and above the base salary will be performance-based
