About John
John Ross has been a part of the Palmetto family for many years, leading with integrity, purpose, and a genuine love for people. He married his wife, Jennifer, in 2008. She loves and supports him well. They are proud parents to two beautiful daughters.
When he’s not at the office, you’ll likely find him on the golf course, traveling, or just soaking up time with his family.
For John, the insurance industry is more than policies and paperwork—it’s about helping people and solving problems. He sees his work as a way to use his God-given gifts to support families and businesses in our community. That spirit of service is also what makes Palmetto different. For over 40 years, the agency has remained locally owned, built on a foundation of honesty and ethical business practices. Beyond the office, John is passionate about giving back. Through partnering with organizations such as United Way, Helping Hands of Clemson, Calvary Home for Children, Hospice of the Upstate, Collins Family Ministries, and Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County, he invests in the same community that has given so much to him and his family. For John, work and life come together in a simple but powerful way: serve others well, both in business and in the community he calls home.
About Andy
For Andy, life is full—and he wouldn’t have it any other way. He and Bailey were married in 2009; Bailey is the calm before the chaos, always up early, with a cup of coffee in hand! They share the joy of raising five children. Whether it’s cheering from the sidelines at his kids’ sporting events or working outside with a chainsaw or tractor, he loves spending time in God’s creation and embracing the gift of family life.
In his professional life, Andy brings that same energy and sense of purpose to the insurance industry. What he values most are the relationships—partnering with clients and colleagues to work toward common goals. He enjoys the challenge of tackling real-world problems in a constantly changing economy, creating thoughtful solutions that provide real support for real people.
For him, Palmetto isn’t just a business—it’s a relationally minded agency that measures growth not simply by numbers, but by the lives that are positively impacted. Outside the office, Andy is actively involved at New Covenant Church, in Anderson, and serves on the board of New Covenant School. Whether at home, in the office, or in the community,
Andy is driven by a clear purpose: to serve faithfully, build relationships, and leave a meaningful impact.
About Brooks
Family has always been at the heart of Brooks’ life and work. He and his wife Lindsay were married in 2011. Lindsay constantly thinks of others; he admires her servant-hearted nature. Together, they are the proud parents of twin daughters,an adventure that brings daily joys and lessons as they watch their girls grow side by side. (Fun fact: Lindsay grew up in an Army family, which meant moving all over the world before settling down.)
When he has free time, you’ll often find Brooks out on a run. While he jokes that his bones and joints sometimes remind him he’s getting older, running continues to be a way he pushes himself and stays grounded.
Professionally, Brooks loves the opportunity to walk alongside clients, helping them build strong insurance programs that provide an important layer of protection. Much of his work centers around supporting small businesses and households—the very backbone of the community he calls home
What makes Palmetto special is its legacy. As a third-generation agency, Palmetto carries forward the foundation laid by past generations—serving with honesty, care, and a commitment to protecting what matters most for clients and their families. For Brooks, being part of that story isn’t just a career, it’s a calling to continue a legacy of trust and community impact..
About DuPre
For DuPre, life is all about relationships—at home, at work, and in the community. He and his wife, Emily, were married in 2010. She’s not only his greatest travel companion, but also the creative force behind her own thriving flower business. Together, they’re raising three children, and he treasures the unique bond he shares with each of them.
Family adventures often involve traveling, with countless memories made along the way. DuPre enjoys golf, cheering on the Gamecocks, and experimenting with BBQ—even if he admits, it’s still a work in progress!
In his career, DuPre is passionate about making insurance less complicated. Recognizing that the industry can be overwhelming, he works hard to simplify the process and make things clear and approachable for clients.
That commitment is part of what sets Palmetto apart—forever local and always available. The team believes in face-to-face conversations, picking up the phone, and being truly present for the people they serve.
Beyond the office, DuPre invests in the Belton community through organizations like the Belton Alliance, Belton Tennis Association, SC Chili Cookoff, Belton Center for the Arts, and Belton Museum Association. He deeply respects those who give their time and energy to enrich the community, and he considers it an honor for Palmetto to be part of that ongoing work.
For DuPre, both work and life come down to the same simple truth: be present, be genuine, and always look for ways to make a lasting impact.
